Accept someone who has asked to be your friend

Someone has sent you a request and you want to connect.

Before you start

  • You are signed in
  • Someone has sent you a request

Steps

  1. Open DatsConnection from the Friend Connections row on your page.

  2. Tap Pending.

    The panel has two parts: Received — requests waiting on you — and Sent below it, the ones you are waiting on.

  3. Find them under Received and tap Accept.

    Decline sits next to it. If nobody has asked you, this section reads No pending friend requests.

You will know it worked when

Their row disappears from Received, the People count at the top goes up by one immediately without a reload, and they appear in your list. A new Untagged filter chip shows up too, because you have not yet said how you know them.
