Take someone off your active friends list

You want a shorter list, or you would rather not be connected right now.

Before you start

Steps

Find them in your People list and tap the ⋯ button at the end of their row.
The menu offers View profile, Voice call, Chat, Share profile, Gift credits, Remove friend and Edit how you know them.
Tap Remove friend.
A confirmation appears — this is not instant, and it tells you what will happen.
Read the message, then tap Remove.
It says: They'll move to your dormant list and you can add them back anytime. Removing is not deleting — the connection is set aside, not thrown away.

You will know it worked when

They leave your active list and your People count drops. The connection still exists, marked dormant, so you can bring them back without sending a new request.
