You want to attach something from DatsMe to an email or a message without downloading it first.

  • You are signed in

Steps

  1. Open Settings, tap the section name at the top, and choose Devices & File Access.

  2. Give the device a name in the box, or keep the one it suggests.

    It offers something sensible like This iPhone or iPad. The name is only so you can recognise the connection later.

  3. Choose the kind of device: iPhone or iPad, Android, or Computer (Finder / Explorer).

    The one you are on is preselected.

  4. Tap Connect.

You will know it worked when

The device appears in the list underneath with its name, its type, when it was last used, and a Disconnect button. Its entry says this device when it is the one in your hand.
