DatsBlog

DatsBlog is where you write articles, and where you choose the one that gets featured at the top of your page.

The page has the writing box at the top and YOUR ARTICLES underneath it, with a count. Each article in that list carries its own row of actions — feature it, download it as a PDF, save it to your library, edit it, delete it — and its own visibility badge, set when you publish.

How to

What it can do

  • Write articles with Markdown, with buttons for bold, italic, headings, lists, links and images
  • Dictate an article instead of typing it
  • Preview an article before publishing
  • Give each article its own visibility, separately from the section it appears in
  • Feature one article so it shows on your page under My Thoughts
  • Download any of your articles as a PDF, or save it to your library

Worth knowing

A brand-new article can be featured as you publish it, with the ⭐ Feature on profile checkbox beside the Publish button — you do not have to publish first and then come back.

Who can see it

Each article carries its own badge, chosen next to the Publish button. That is separate from the My Thoughts section's badge on your page — the section decides whether the block is shown at all, the article decides who may read it. See The sections of your page and Who can see what.
