DatsFeed
DatsFeed is what your friends and groups have been doing, with controls to decide how much of it you see.
It has three feeds behind tabs — Friends, Groups and News — and, unusually, it hands you the filter rather than deciding for you. Friends Feed Control lets you narrow to particular people, include or exclude things you have saved, and set a relevancy percentage. Entries can be voted on and replied to without leaving the list, and voting is one of the ways social points move.
How to
- Stop your feed showing you everythingThere is too much in it, or you only care about a few people right now.
What it can do
- See what your friends have been doing, in one list
- Switch between your friends' activity, your groups', and news
- Narrow the list to particular people
- Include, exclude, or show only things you have saved
- Turn a relevancy dial to cut the list down
- Vote on an entry, and reply to it without leaving the feed
- Refresh on demand rather than waiting
Worth knowing
⭐ Voting is not just a reaction — it moves social points. An entry shows its score between the arrows and, beside it, what it is worth: 1 social point. That is the same currency as the tier on your account, so a feed is one of the places it comes from. See Points, credits & billing.
⚠️ Relevancy starts at 0%, which means nothing is filtered out by it until you raise it.
Who can see it
Your feed is assembled for you and nobody else sees it — the Feed tile on your page is marked Private — only you. What appears in it still obeys whatever the person who posted it chose. See Who can see what.
