Points, credits & billing
DatsMe has two separate currencies: credits, which you spend on AI and services and which are what most things cost, and social points, which you earn by being connected to people.
They live on one page under Settings → Points, Credits & Billing, on two tabs, and they are not interchangeable. A third tab, Service Prices, lists what each service costs today, your plan and the plans you can switch to, the add-ons you hold or can add, and any membership you give a friend. Credit Points are the ones that get used up — the page labels them For AI & services. Social Points are earned rather than spent, and they carry a tier. Each of those two tabs keeps a full history, so every change to either number has a line saying what caused it.

Worth knowing
⭐ The two currencies do different jobs. Credits are spent — adopting a pet costs them, keeping one costs a little every month, and the AI uses them. Social points are earned by being social: accepting a friend adds one, and there is a monthly allowance. A tier such as Bronze comes from your social points, not from your credits, so no amount of spending changes it. Storage plans and group sites are charged by the day: start one part-way through a month and the days before come back on the 1st; stop it and the days left come back that day.
Plans, add-ons and promotions: a package is one monthly price, in credits, that covers a set of services — some included each month, some unlimited, sometimes the monthly fee waived. Your plan is the one you are on: the free default plan, or a paid plan you switch to on Service Prices. Switching gives back the unused days of your old plan first, then charges the new one. Add-ons go on top of your plan: you can hold several, and what they include adds together. A promotion is free and every member has it on the days it runs, with nothing to press. A covered use shows 0 in Credit History, with the line "Covered by your packages" under it. Paid plans and add-ons are charged by the day like a storage plan — the days before you start come back on the 1st, and stopping gives back the days left that day — and for a part-way month each included amount is that share of a month's. Only you see your plan and add-ons.
Membership gifts: if you pay full price for a plan, you can pay for a friend's plan too, at the gift's own price. They accept once, and you are charged on each 1st with your own plan, even if that takes your balance below zero, in which case you get the same reminders as for any negative balance. To end a gift, tap Stop under You give. Your friend keeps the plan until the end of the month, and then moves to the free plan. Moving to a free plan yourself ends every gift you give. Someone on a gift cannot give one.
