Groups
A group is a shared space you join by its tags — and its name is built from the address of whoever made it plus those tags.
This one catches people out, so it is worth seeing before you go looking. A group is not called Book Club. It is called something like kai.1#besties#michigan#bookclub — the creator's address, then each of its tags, joined by #. That is why you search for groups by tag rather than by name. Groups sit in the Group Connections section of your page, next to your friends.

Worth knowing
⚠️ Request sent is not membership. On a semi-private group nothing else happens until the group lets you in — there is no Leave button to press, because there is nothing yet to leave.
Who can see it
Groups carry their own setting, shown as a badge on each one in the list: Public anyone can join on the spot, Semi-Private you must be let in. Your own Group Connections section is always private — only you see the list of groups you are in. See Who can see what and The sections of your page.
