Keep a shortcut to your interests on your computer

You open your interests often from a desktop or laptop and want to get there in one double-click.

Before you start

  • A computer with a desktop — dragging is a mouse gesture, so not a phone

Steps

  1. Find the INTERESTS & HOBBIES heading on your page.

The heading is a link — the small → after it is the sign. Clicking it opens the page that lists all your interests.

  2. Press on the heading's words, hold, and drag them out of the browser onto your desktop. Then let go.

Drag the words themselves. Dragging one of the cards makes a shortcut to that single interest instead, with a less tidy name.

  3. For one interest rather than all of them, right-click its card and choose Copy link, then paste the link wherever you keep your links.

On a phone, press and hold the card instead.

You will know it worked when

A shortcut appears on the desktop. On Windows and on a Mac it is named after the heading — Interests & Hobbies, or whatever you have renamed the section to. Double-clicking it opens the list of your interests in your browser. After Copy link, a Link copied message appears.

If it does not work

On Linux the shortcut is named after the site and the time instead of the heading.
That name is chosen by the desktop, not by DatsMe. The shortcut works; rename it to whatever you like.
The shortcut opens the list but some interests are missing.
You are signed out in that browser, so you are seeing only what a visitor sees. Sign in and they come back.
