See and set all your sections' visibility in one place

You want to check what is public across your whole page without tapping through it, or you would rather pick from a list than cycle a badge.

Before you start

  • You are signed in

Steps

  1. Open Settings from the gear at the top of your page.

    Then tap the section name at the top — it reads Account & Preferences when you arrive — and choose Profile Page & Theme.

  2. Scroll to Section Order & Visibility.

    It lists every section of your page on its own row.

  3. Read the value at the right of each row.

    Each row shows its setting as a word — Default, Friends, and so on — rather than as a badge you have to tap to discover.

  4. Use the ▲ and ▼ arrows on the left of a row to move that section up or down your page.

    This is also the only place you can reorder sections.

  5. Tap Save Profile when you are done.

    The panel says so itself: changes here are committed by Save Profile. Unlike the badges on your page, these do not take effect as you tap.

You will know it worked when

The list shows every section with its position and its visibility, and after saving, your page reflects both the new order and any visibility you changed.
