Accept a membership a friend is giving you

A friend has offered to pay for your plan.

Before you start

  • A friend has sent you a membership gift

Steps

  1. Open the gift card in chat, or tap Accept on the notification.

  2. Read what changes, then tap Accept.

    If you are on a paid plan of your own, this replaces it and the unused days come back to you.

You will know it worked when

Your plan shows the new plan and says who is paying for it. You accept once: it then renews on its own, you pay nothing, and you get a notice each month.
