Storage & backup
One page shows how much space your site is using, and lets you save a backup of the whole thing — your files and everything you have written — to your own Google Drive.
It is in Settings → Storage & Backup. Two things live there: a plain breakdown of what you are using, split between your database and your media uploads; and a connection to a cloud drive you own, where DatsMe keeps a copy in a folder called DatsMe. ⛔ The backup does not happen on its own — you press Sync Now each time you want the backup brought up to date. Worth knowing below says what that means in practice.

Worth knowing
⭐ There are two doors to this one page, and the tile is the one people find. DatsStorage (🗄️) in Applications on your page opens exactly this screen — it is not a second place with different settings. It exists because the file system is a real part of DatsMe and had no tile of its own until someone went looking for one. It is launcher-only, so it never takes one of the four slots along the bottom of the screen.
⛔ Sync is manual, and this is the thing to remember. The page says it outright: Sync is manual — press "Sync Now" to update your backup. Connecting your Drive does not mean it keeps itself up to date; a backup is only as fresh as the last time you pressed the button.
⚠️ Google Drive is the only provider today. The page notes more providers coming soon (OneDrive, Dropbox) — so if you do not use Drive, there is no backup target for you yet.
⚠️ Connecting a Drive was not walked for this page: it hands you off to Google's own sign-in, and steps written from a flow nobody completed do not go in. The Connect button and what it promises are described from the page itself.
⚠️ A connected Drive can go stale, and the page says so plainly rather than failing quietly. Walked on a real account: the card showed the Google account name, an Open in Google Drive ↗ link, and then Reconnect needed — Your Google Drive connection expired, with the important part spelled out — new uploads are being kept on this device until you reconnect. ⭐ Nothing is lost while it is in that state; it is waiting, not broken. But your backup stops being current the moment the connection lapses, and since sync is manual anyway there is nothing that would notice on your behalf. If you rely on the backup, this card is the thing to glance at.
Who can see it
The backup goes to your cloud drive, not to DatsMe's. The page states it plainly: Only you can access your synced data. See Your content is in your own database.
