Put a song on your page
You want music playing while someone is looking at your page.
Before you start
- You are signed in
- An audio file, or a song already in your folders
Steps
Go to Settings and open Profile Page & Theme.
Scroll to Profile Details and find Profile Song.
With nothing set it offers two routes — Choose from library for something already on your site, and Upload for a file on this device. Underneath: One song at a time — a curated favorites list is a separate feature.
Tap Upload and pick the file, or Choose from library and pick from your folders.
⚠️ Only the Upload route was walked end to end. Choose from library opens a picker over your personal folders; a song set that way is a REFERENCE to the file you already own, not a second copy of it — see Personal folders.
Wait for the buttons to become Remove, with a player and the line Loop while visitors stay.
⭐ Like the voice intro, it commits on its own — there is no Save step for this control.
Press play to hear it, and check the Song row under Section Order & Visibility if you care who hears it.
The song has its own row there with the usual Default / Public / Friends / Hidden choice. ⚠️ Changes in THAT list are committed by Save Profile at the bottom — unlike the song itself. See The sections of your page.
You will know it worked when
Your page plays one song, on a loop, for whoever you allowed to hear it.
